The 2025 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) have unveiled this year’s nominees, including the newly added Best Country category. Those nominees are Chris Stapleton for “Think I’m In Love With You,” Cody Johnson and Carrie Underwood for “I’m Gonna Love You,” Jelly Roll for “Liar,” Lainey Wilson for “4x4xU,” Megan Moroney for “Am I Okay?,” and Morgan Wallen for “Smile.” Wallen has also been nominated for Artist of the Year and Best Album, while Ella Langley earned a nod for Best New Artist. Shaboozey and Dasha are each up for MTV Push Performance of the Year. In the Best Collaboration category, Bailey Zimmerman with Luke Combs and Post Malone featuring Blake Shelton are both contenders. Jelly Roll is recognized in the Video For Good category. The ceremony is scheduled for September 7 at 8 p.m. ET, and fan voting is now open for 19 categories until September 5th. (Music Row)
